Volleyball Recap: Friends Takes a Loss

Friends lost against The Gunston School back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Quakers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Herons. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-27, 25-16.

Scotia Hopper was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and three aces.

Friends' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for The Gunston School, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Friends didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Pallotti on the 19th. As for The Gunston School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against St. Mary's on the 19th.
