Soccer Recap: North Point Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Timberland

North Point faced Timberland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the T-Wolves by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, North Point haven't been shut out since back in March.

North Point's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3-1. As for Timberland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Coming up, North Point will face off against Howell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timberland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Dominic at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
