Tocoi Creek and Buchholz squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Tocoi Creek had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Toros' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gracie Gorman paced Tocoi Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Gorman were helped by Madie Wengert and Madelynn Hogan, who contributed 11 assists each. Mel Carey controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Buchholz found their leader in sophomore Izzy Carter, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Tocoi Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Buchholz, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Tocoi Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buchholz, they will challenge Fletcher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
