Softball Recap: Central Catholic Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loreauville, Central Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the A.J. Ellender Patriots. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Central Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for A.J. Ellender, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Central Catholic has already played their next contest, an 11-4 win against Terrebonne on the 7th. As for A.J. Ellender, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Franklin on the 7th.
