Volleyball Recap: Pender Patriots vs. Fairmont Golden Tornadoes

Pender took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes 3-0.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 32-30, 29-27.

Jensen Bordeaux was nothing short of spectacular: she had 38 digs, six kills, and three aces. Those 38 digs gave her a new career-high. Eden Gurganous was another key player, getting 27 digs and two aces.
