Volleyball Recap: Pearland Comes Up Short

Pearland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the V.R. Eaton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Britney Solomon paced Pearland's offense, picking up five kills. Solomon got some help from Camden Stevens and her eight assists.

Pearland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for V.R. Eaton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Pearland will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for V.R. Eaton, they will venture away from home to face off against Keller at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
