Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Wilson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lincoln Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Mules. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wilson scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wilson, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Monday against Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. Eagle Rock will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilson, they will challenge Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
