Baseball Recap: Temple Takes a Loss

The Temple Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Salado Eagles on Saturday and fell 5-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Temple's record is now 8-21-2. As for Salado, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Temple will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Copperas Cove at 7:00 p.m. As for Salado, they will venture away from home to face off against Lampasas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Badgers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
