Soccer Recap: Whitney Plays to a Tie

Whitney saw some tournament action on Saturday. Neither they nor the Loyola Cubs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Whitney's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-4. Meanwhile, Loyola's record is now 4-0-3.

Whitney and Cathedral will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Whitney's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Loyola, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marcus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loyola's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
