Volleyball Game Preview: Tulare Western Mustangs vs. Corcoran Panthers

The Tulare Western Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Corcoran Panthers at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Tulare Western will be strutting in after a win while Corcoran will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Tulare Western turned things around against Farmersville on Thursday. They came out on top against the Aztecs by a score of 2-0.

Tulare Western easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Corcoran came up short against Tulare Union on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tulare Western's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Corcoran, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15-3.

Tulare Western was able to grind out a solid win over Corcoran in their previous matchup back in September of 2016, winning 2-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
