Soccer Game Preview: Flower Mound vs. Hebron

The Flower Mound Jaguars are taking a road trip to challenge the Hebron Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Flower Mound came up short against Coppell on Thursday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Flower Mound can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Coppell are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Hebron's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Braswell by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Hebron have lost by just one goal.

Flower Mound's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12-3. As for Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-7.
