Volleyball Recap: South Plaquemines Extends Winning Streak to Three

South Plaquemines had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lutheran Gryphons by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

South Plaquemines' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lutheran, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, South Plaquemines will venture away from home to challenge West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran will be paying especially close attention to the Hurricanes' contest: after the Hurricanes face off against the Buccaneers, they'll take on Lutheran again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
