Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Clay Eagles
The Ross Little Giants will head out on the road to square off against the Clay Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ross is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Ross was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-44 to Springfield.
Meanwhile, Clay came up short against Southview on Friday and fell 57-50. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clay in their matchups with Southview: they've now lost six in a row.
Ross has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Clay, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.
Ross came up short against Clay in their previous matchup back in January, falling 50-43. Can Ross avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
