Ferndale and United are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. Ferndale is taking a road trip to challenge United at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ferndale has three straight wins, United has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Ferndale had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Blacklick Valley on Monday. Ferndale put the hurt on Blacklick Valley with a sharp 16-3 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when United challenged River Valley on Thursday. United came up short against River Valley, falling 15-0.

United's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ferndale, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Ferndale might still be hurting after the 23-16 defeat they got from United in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Ferndale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
