Baseball Recap: Cascade Starts Season with Win Against Waterville

Cascade gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Waterville Shockers 16-3. That's more bragging rights for the Kodiaks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cascade got a massive performance out of Trenton Holland, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Colton Chase, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 16-0 defeat against Sultan on the 20th. As for Waterville, they will head out on the road to face off against Manson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
