Baseball Recap: East Chapel Hill Triumphs

On Friday, the East Chapel Hill Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Enloe Eagles 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The victory got East Chapel Hill back to even at 3-3. As for Enloe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.

Coming up, East Chapel Hill will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Nash Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nash Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. As for Enloe, they will take on Cardinal Gibbons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Gibbons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Enloe's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
