Volleyball Recap: Avon Takes a Loss

Avon lost against Southington on October 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Avon Falcons came up short against the Southington Blue Knights, falling 3-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Blue Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Avon's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Southington, they pushed their record up to 31-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Avon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southington, they will play host again on Wednesday to welcome RHAM, where the match is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. RHAM will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Southington surely won't give up without a fight.
