Baseball Recap: Brunswick School Takes a Loss

The Brunswick School Bruins didn't have quite enough to beat the Millbrook School Mustangs on Friday and fell 4-3.

Brunswick School got a good showing from Johnny Gally, who struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Jack Bylow was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Maximus Gabelli was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Brunswick School's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Millbrook School, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brunswick School will host Hopkins at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Millbrook School, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Salisbury School at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Crimson Knights' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
