Football Game Preview: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Sierra Stallions + How To Watch

Pueblo County is a perfect 4-0 against Sierra since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Pueblo County blew Coronado out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Coronado got their revenge. The Hornets fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 10-7. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even if they lost, Pueblo County's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Luca Tucci was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up four himself. He is becoming a predictor of Pueblo County's success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Pueblo East, falling 62-6.

Pueblo County will have to contain Patrick Robinson as he made an impact in Sierra's last game. He rushed for 142 yards and one score while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Robinson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pueblo County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
