McPherson won the last time they faced Circle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bullpups skirted past the Thunderbirds 2-1.

McPherson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Circle still got an impressive performance from Brianna Paul, who had 13 digs and two assists. Paul is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

McPherson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4-2 record this season. As for Circle, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-10.

Looking ahead, McPherson will face off against Nickerson on Saturday. As for Circle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against El Dorado on the 7th.
