Volleyball Recap: Rosewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rosewood lost against Wallace-Rose Hill back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Rosewood had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

Kylie Huffman paced Rosewood's offense, picking up 18 kills. Huffman got some help from Bella Mazura and her 26 assists. Finally, Avery Ramsey kept Rosewood's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wallace-Rose Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabella Parker, who had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Parker has posted since back in August of 2024.

Rosewood's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rosewood is set to face off against their familiar foe Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wallace-Rose Hill will challenge rival James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
