Hoover owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on the South Charleston Black Eagles with a sharp 8-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly eight runs.
Hannah Shamblin was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched.
