Carson Lund Delivers Electric Effort Vs Mariposa County
Stone Ridge Christian picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carson Lund. Lund turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 68 yards.
Stone Ridge Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Lund and Stone Ridge Christian will take on Gustine at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Gutierrez Posts Huge Game in 37-7 Victory
Delhi found a leader in Antonio Gutierrez as the team took down Waterford on Friday. Nobody could stop Gutierrez as he rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.
This season, Gutierrez has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 119.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 20.25 rushing yards per game.

Delhi was led to victory by Sergio Bueno, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Bueno rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Stone Ridge Christian picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Daijon O?Neil. Mariposa County had no answer to O?Neil as he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 81 receiving yards. O?Neil also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Unfortunately for Mariposa County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from O?Neil. O?Neil rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in September of 2023.

Jonathan Benavidez Puts an End to Le Grand's Losing Streak on Friday
Jonathan Benavidez helped snap Le Grand's six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Benavidez turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, rushing for 111 yards and a touchdown. Those 111 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Le Grand's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Benavidez and Le Grand will be playing in front of their home fans against Yosemite at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
