Softball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Falls Short Against Ranked Lockport

Lincoln-Way West faced Lockport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors fell 4-1 to the Porters. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Porters this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-3 defeat back in April.

Lincoln-Way West's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Lockport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Lincoln-Way West will square off against Lemont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lockport, they will challenge Minooka at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
