The Pflugerville Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cedar Creek. While losing is never fun, Pflugerville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 641st, while Cedar Creek is ranked 211th).

Leading Cedar Creek to victory were Robert Conrad and Kenji Franklin. Conrad scored 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Franklin scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Conrad has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Leland Washington was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.

Pflugerville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Cedar Creek, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-8.

Pflugerville will square off against Bastrop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bastrop is on a five-game streak of home losses, Pflugerville a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Cedar Creek will take on Hendrickson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hendrickson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
