After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brush, Northfield was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bennett Tigers.

Noelle Swartzendruber was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Robles, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Northfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bennett only posted a batting average of .125.

Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Bennett, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Northfield will challenge Denver North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bennett, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Holyoke at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
