Basketball Recap: Reedsburg Comes Up Short

Reedsburg lost against Mount Horeb back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Reedsburg Beavers took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Horeb Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th in Wisconsin, while the Vikings are ranked ninth in Wisconsin).

Reedsburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. The victory (which was Mount Horeb's tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

As of now, neither Reedsburg nor Mount Horeb have any future games scheduled.
