Leland not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024. Everything went their way against the Evergreen Valley Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Evergreen Valley scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

Leland's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Evergreen Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Leland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. Evergreen Valley has already played their next game (against Branham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
