If Carrboro wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Chapel Hill, they should've done a better job of containing Leila Tooloee. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars on Thursday with plenty of help from Tooloee, who had seven digs and two aces. Tooloee is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

While Chapel Hill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-18.

Carrboro's loss came despite strong showings from Ella Solander and Hayley Royal. Solander had seven digs and two aces, while Royal had six assists and five digs.

Chapel Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Carrboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill will challenge J.H. Rose at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carrboro, they will square off against Seaforth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
