Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Wins Going Away Against Shenandoah Valley

Tri-Valley won the last time they faced Shenandoah Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tri-Valley took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-3, 25-10.

Tri-Valley can attribute much of their success to Callie Melocheck, who had 21 assists and three aces.

Melocheck wasn't the only good server: Tri-Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will square off against Nativity BVM at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shenandoah Valley, they will take on Mahanoy Area at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
