Volleyball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Northern Bedford County on Tuesday, Everett came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Mountaineers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-18.

Addy Wood paced Everett's offense, picking up nine kills. Wood got some help from Laynee Cornell and her seven assists. Finally, Nya Debolt kept Everett's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Everett's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 16-4. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1-1.

Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will challenge West Branch at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
