Basketball Recap: Reed City Comes Up Short

Reed City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Big Rapids Cardinals and fell 75-48. The Coyotes lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 48-46 score last time.

Reed City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Big Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Reed City will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mason County Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Big Rapids has already played their next matchup, a 61-53 loss against Kenowa Hills on the 21st.
