Volleyball Recap: Denver Waldorf Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Denver Waldorf was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Victory Prep Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Mile High Academy Mustangs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered against the Mustangs since March 29, 2021.

Denver Waldorf was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Annie Omeara paced Denver Waldorf's offense, picking up 12 kills. Omeara got some help from Lara Gregory and her 15 assists. Finally, Gregory was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
