Shaw won the last time they faced St. Martin de Porres and things went their way on Monday too. The Cardinals came out on top against the Lions by a score of 63-51. The Cardinals didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Marcus Gadomski was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 7-for-16 en route to 23 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sephiroth Rivers, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 12 points and five rebounds.

Shaw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matchups.

Shaw's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for St. Martin de Porres, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Shaw will head out on the road to square off against East Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Scarabs have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Martin de Porres, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
