Basketball Recap: Penobscot Valley Takes a Loss

Penobscot Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Schenck Wolverines, falling 59-22. While losing is never fun, the Howlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Wolverines are ranked seventh).

Penobscot Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Schenck, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Penobscot Valley will head out to square off against Calais at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Schenck, they will be playing at home against Dexter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
