Baseball Recap: Penn-Trafford Victorious

Penn-Trafford won the last time they faced Greater Latrobe and things went their way on Monday too. Penn-Trafford narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Greater Latrobe 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Logan Matrisch was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Nico Casiato also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Penn-Trafford's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Greater Latrobe, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Penn-Trafford will have a chance to go back-to-back against Greater Latrobe: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
