Softball Game Preview: North Mason Bulldogs vs. Ellensburg Bulldogs

North Mason will head out to challenge Ellensburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Thursday just wasn't the day for North Mason's offense. They lost 14-0 to Olympic on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Ellensburg suffered their biggest loss since March 20th on Tuesday. They came up short against Selah, falling 12-2. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ellensburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miley Porter, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Emerson Morrill also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Ellensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for North Mason, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3-1.
