Basketball Recap: Custer Find Success

After losing to Rapid City Christian the last time they met, Custer decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Custer Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over the Rapid City Christian Comets on Tuesday.

Custer's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Rapid City Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Custer will host St. Thomas More at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rapid City Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. Rapid City Christian is facing Hot Springs at the right time seeing as Hot Springs is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
