Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Common Eagles vs. Platte Valley Broncos

Liberty Common is 1-8 against Platte Valley since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Liberty Common came up short against Village on Friday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Platte Valley came up short against Eaton on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Broncos didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Reds 25-21 in the first set.

Platte Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-11.

Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Liberty Common, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
