Volleyball Recap: Turpin Spartans vs. Badin Rams
With a playoff game on the line, Turpin rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Badin Rams. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on four straight.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carley Nadler, who had 14 digs. Caitlin Brown was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.
Turpin's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Badin, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.
Turpin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Ursuline Academy on the 2nd. Badin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
