Softball Game Preview: Sioux Central Rebels vs. Southeast Valley Warriors

Sioux Central is on a three-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Southeast Valley a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Sioux Central Rebels will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Southeast Valley Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Sioux Central will be strutting in after a victory while Southeast Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Sioux Central's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Northwest Webster with a sharp 14-0 win. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Southeast Valley lost 12-2 to St. Edmond on Tuesday.

Sioux Central's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Southeast Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Sioux Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Southeast Valley in their previous matchup back in June of 2025, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
