Volleyball Recap: Smoky Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Smoky Valley had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Haven Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Smoky Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Haven between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Smoky Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Haven, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-13.

Coincidentally, Smoky Valley and Haven will both be playing Hillsboro the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
