Softball Recap: Weatherford Eagles vs. Poteau Pirates
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Weatherford had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Poteau Pirates a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 18 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Kaitlyn Bryant was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Maci Thain was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
