Baseball Recap: Vancleave Bulldogs vs. St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws
Vancleave won the last time they faced St. Stanislaus and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vancleave Bulldogs walked away with a 5-1 victory over the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly four runs.
Max Bates made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bates was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he also posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
