Basketball Recap: Schlarman Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Oakwood came into Friday's match looking for another win against Schlarman, but Noah Fowler wouldn't allow it. The Schlarman Hilltoppers came out on top against the Oakwood Comets by a score of 70-58 on Friday which was due in part to Fowler, who to rack up 25 points and four steals. Schlarman is 5-1 when Fowler posts three or more steals, but 6-10 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Peyton Kuemmerle, who on his way to 20 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Schlarman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. Oakwood's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.
