Baseball Recap: Shady Spring Takes a Loss

Shady Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Karns Beavers.

Jalon Bailey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.

Shady Spring's record now sits at 3-8-1. As for Karns, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Shady Spring is taking a road trip to challenge Summers County at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Karns, they will square off against Madison Southern at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
