Basketball Recap: Graham/Dustin Comes Up Short

Graham/Dustin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 79-20 loss at the hands of the Konawa Tigers.

Despite the loss, Graham/Dustin saw an underclassman step up: freshman Henry Bennett posted eight points and ten rebounds. Bennett has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Whitt, who earned four points and five rebounds.

Graham/Dustin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Konawa, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.

Graham/Dustin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-19 loss against New Lima on the 24th. Konawa has also already played their next matchup, a 44-41 defeat against Bowlegs on the 24th.
