Baseball Game Preview: Delcastle Technical Cougars vs. Tatnall Hornets

Delcastle Technical hasn't had much luck against Tatnall recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Cougars will square off against the Hornets at 12:00 p.m. Delcastle Technical has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Delcastle Technical is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 27th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Newark, falling 14-2.

Delcastle Technical saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Ulrich, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI. Aiden Hower was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Tatnall was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to Sanford. The shutout was out of character for the Hornets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Tatnall's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Delcastle Technical, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Delcastle Technical might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from Tatnall when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
