Baseball Recap: Pelahatchie Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pelahatchie's offense. They came up short against the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The Chiefs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Pelahatchie and nudges their season record down to 6-14. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Looking ahead, St. Andrew's Episcopal is taking a road trip to square off against Terry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pelahatchie will be paying especially close attention to the Saints' match: after the Saints faces off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Pelahatchie again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
