Football Game Preview: Conway Tigers vs. Myrtle Beach Seahawks

The Conway Tigers will square off against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at 7:05 p.m. on Friday. Conway will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Conway is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against North Myrtle Beach by a score of 35-28 on Friday.

A big part of Conway's win came down to the chemistry between Noah Legg and his top target Javon Smalls. Legg threw for 247 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes while Smalls picked up 167 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 85 yards.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past St. James 31-28. The win continues a trend for the Seahawks in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won six in a row.

Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Conway, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Conway was dealt a bruising 35-6 loss at the hands of Myrtle Beach in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 35-0.
